Location: Oxnard, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across inpatient, rehab, and outpatient settings
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Support patients with diverse diagnoses including stroke, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic conditions
Provide education and training to patients and families for continued progress at home

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with inpatient rehab, general medical, and outpatient orthopedic populations
Ability to work with diverse patient needs including neuro, ortho, and bariatric cases
Comfortable with swallow studies (preferred for OT)
Adaptable to both hospital-based and free-standing clinic environments
