Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to ensure patient stability
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Deliver patient-centered care that respects diverse cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
EPIC experience within the last 6 months helpful but not required
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing protocols
Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
Ventilator management and ICP monitoring
Titration of insulin and cardizem drips
Strong teamwork and genuine patient advocacy mindset
