Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage, weekends and holidays on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and expertise
Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers your nursing team
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cases
Enhance nursing competency through mentorship and hands-on leadership
Manage pre-procedure preparation and recovery for optimal patient outcomes
Float to support other departments when needed, showcasing your versatility
Monitor and titrate vasoactive drips to ensure patient stability
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional cardiac and critical care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in clinical leadership
1 year of management experience preferred
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
CRRT competency required
Fluoro license preferred for technical staff
Strong critical care and telemetry experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
Proficiency with vasoactive drips and moderate sedation
Ability to read and monitor telemetry strips
Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
