Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required; 30-minute call response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care to surgical patients across diverse specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team during robot-assisted and laparoscopic procedures
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond promptly to any changes
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while following strict safety protocols
Support smooth case flow in a busy four-suite OR averaging ten procedures daily

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
Current BLS certification required
Previous OR experience strongly preferred
Robot and GI experience a plus
Ability to take call with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical safety standards
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
Comfort working with robotic and laparoscopic equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Quick decision-making skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
