Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support beautiful mom-baby couplets through the postpartum journey
Circulate during C-sections to ensure the safest arrival for every baby
Collaborate with a tight-knit rural healthcare team where your independence truly matters
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed most

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited NICU access

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and newborn care
Experience with EFM monitoring using OB Trace Vue
Skilled in neonatal respiratory support including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to pass N95 fit testing requirements
