Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and surgical instrumentation with precision
• Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during procedures to support optimal outcomes
• Verify instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after cases to ensure patient safety
• Anticipate surgeon needs and deliver instruments efficiently to keep cases flowing
• Participate in safe patient positioning and transport within the OR environment
• Communicate effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Minimum 1 year of operating room / surgical technology experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or required per facility
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility onboarding checks
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S. — bring your great skills and paperwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practices
• Instrument identification, handling, counting, and surgical tray setup
• Familiarity with common OR procedures and workflow
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic OR equipment and instrumentation
• Clear communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and infection control
