Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after a shift every week and weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide variety of cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, eyes, and ENT
Maintain sterile fields and follow strict safety protocols to protect every patient
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional care in high-acuity situations
Support pediatric emergencies when they arise and contribute to life-saving moments

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR with 12 suites and diverse case types
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise across ortho, neuro, GYN, eyes, ENT, and robotics specialties
Familiarity with DaVinci Robot, stealth navigation, o-arm, and holmium lasers
Ability to handle complex cases like total joints, craniotomies, and organ procurements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining sterile technique
