Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor and interpret EKGs while safely titrating critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver fast-paced, patient-centered care on a high-turnover unit
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and participate in bedside handoff reporting
Float to other telemetry units or ICU overflow as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience highly preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience safely titrating cardiac and insulin drips
Comfortable with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
Ability to maintain sterile technique during procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
