Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Block scheduling with every other weekend and one summer plus one winter holiday required, standby call expected
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend deliveries as the baby nurse providing expert newborn care
- Start and maintain IVs while monitoring newborns requiring phototherapy, respiratory support, or withdrawal care
- Assist with umbilical line placement and manage Bubble CPAP and high-flow therapies
- Flex between Special Care Nursery and postpartum couplet care to support the entire LDRP unit
- Transfer infants to higher levels of care when needed and collaborate with the on-site neonatologist
Qualifications
- Active Washington RN license
- NRP and BLS certifications required
- Skilled in attending deliveries as the baby nurse
- Experience with NICU Level 2 and postpartum care preferred
- Proficient in IV starts, Bubble CPAP, high-flow, and umbilical line assistance
Knowledge & Skills

- Titration of D5W and TPN drips
