Virtual Monitor Tech
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
- Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias promptly
- Follow established protocols to notify local RN staff of cardiac changes
- Accurately document rhythm interpretations and maintain patient safety standards
- Collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes and department metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms (one chance only)
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a virtual setting
