Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians as directed during a wide variety of surgical procedures
- Serve as first assistant across ortho, robotics, neuro, GYN, urology, vascular, and general surgery cases
- Provide skilled support in both open and minimally invasive robotic procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
- Float between campuses as needed to support coverage and patient care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
- Robotics experience is a must-have
- RNFA certification or equivalent first-assist training
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of ortho totals, scopes, and robotic procedures
- Familiarity with neuro spine, brain tumors, and cranial cases
- Experience assisting in GYN oncology and robotic hysterectomies
- Comfortable with urology, vascular, ENT, and general surgery cases
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
