Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment with precision and care
Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain detailed records using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Float to Mercy Downtown campus when needed to support patient care across locations
Ensure patient safety and comfort during every study

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine procedures including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, and gastric emptying
GE imaging equipment operation
Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
