Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses, providing compassionate care to a variety of patients
Manage and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aids, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Care for geriatric, orthopedic, and post-cardiac procedure patients with attention to detail and empathy

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Comfortable with dysrhythmia interpretation and passing the exam within two attempts
Willingness to float between units and campuses as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Experience with titratable drips and post-procedural patient care
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
