Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a specialized Visual Monitor Unit
- Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to cardiac rhythms and patient changes
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and security teams to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications and perform essential nursing skills while maintaining sterile technique
- Support patients with both medical and behavioral health needs in a respectful, calm environment
- Float to ED psych holds or MedSurg floors as needed to support the broader care team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience in a 600+ bed facility
- Strong MedSurg/Telemetry skills with a genuine interest in behavioral health patients
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed) and complete SIMs Lab skills on day one
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
- Cerner electronic medical record system
- Sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- De-escalation and safety monitoring for patients with behavioral health needs
- Video monitoring systems and chemical restraint protocols
- Floating comfortably between units when census or patient needs change
