Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to patient needs
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, charge nurses, and patient care techs
Support patient experience goals through clear communication and responsiveness
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in managing arterial lines and titratable drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation
Willingness to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during the contract
Valid driver's license required at time of submission
