Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
- Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Float within Zone 1 facilities when extreme needs arise to support seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with demonstrated Trauma and Neuro expertise
- Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to take call with a 30-minute response time
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Quick decision-making skills in high-acuity surgical environments
- Flexibility to adapt to varying case volumes and call schedules
