Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across MS-Tele and specialty units
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities in Ulysses, Dodge City, and Garden City
Monitor cardiac and neuro patients while managing titratable drips like Heparin
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
Support patients through cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and post-surgical care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Neuro experience preferred
Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills across multiple specialties
Comfortable floating between Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Ability to read cardiac strips and manage stable long-term placement patients
Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs
