Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float Pool
Location: Garden City, Kansas

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across MS-Tele and specialty units
- Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities in Ulysses, Dodge City, and Garden City
- Monitor cardiac and neuro patients while managing titratable drips like Heparin
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to varying patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
- Support patients through cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and post-surgical care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
- Neuro experience preferred
- Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills across multiple specialties
- Comfortable floating between Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
- Ability to read cardiac strips and manage stable long-term placement patients
- Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs
