End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, self-scheduling with manager balancing, 2 weekends per 4-week schedule, holiday requirements for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry patients including post-surgical, respiratory, and neurological cases
Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Support patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and spinal surgeries
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed, expanding your clinical experience
Deliver patient education and coordinate care with nursing assistants and respiratory therapists

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Background with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA preferred
Cerner experience recommended

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Post-operative care for orthopedic and spinal surgery patients
Stroke and TIA patient management
Cerner electronic health record system
Patient education and care coordination
