Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
Provide compassionate care to ED holds awaiting placement on medical-surgical or telemetry units
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Float to med/surg/tele and overflow units as needed to support hospital-wide care
Assist with ED tasks including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when requested

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience within the past 6 months
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills and ability to pass RELIAS exam within 48 hours of offer
Comfortable floating between campuses and units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Cardiac drip titration including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Patient assessment and care planning for med/surg/tele patients
Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
