Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Titrate and manage critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with a supportive team while floating to MedSurg or ICU as needed
Deliver patient-centered care that improves experience scores and communication
Respond quickly when called in from on-call status within 30 minutes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency managing arterial lines
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and telemetry monitoring skills
Experience with arterial lines and titratable drips
Excellent communication and adaptability
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
