Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips
- Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
- Support patients and families through diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care
- Float to other PCU and Med/Surg units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months helpful but not required
- Valid driver's license required at time of submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and oncology care
- Hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Titration of insulin and Cardizem drips
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Alaris IV pump operation
- Strong teamwork and patient advocacy skills
