Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure smooth case flow across 22-45 daily procedures
- Respond to 30-minute call shifts, providing critical support during after-hours emergencies
- Float to Main OR when needed and support vascular cases with your specialized skills
Qualifications
- Active Washington state license required
- Current BLS certification
- Robotics experience preferred but not required - training available
- Scrub experience preferred for RNs but not mandatory
- Ability to take 8-9 call shifts per month with 30-minute response time
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with 4 CVOR suites
- Willingness to learn robotic-assisted cases on the Da Vinci XI system
- Excellent communication and teamwork in high-stakes surgical settings
