Surgical Tech - CVOR
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with self-scheduling and block scheduling options
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
- Assist surgeons during open heart and endovascular cases with precision and care
- Collaborate with the CVOR team to ensure seamless surgical experiences
- Float to general OR when needed to support the broader surgical team
- Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout every procedure
Qualifications
- Current CST certification required
- BLS certification required
- CO DORA license required
- Open heart and endovascular experience strongly preferred
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiovascular, thoracic, and endovascular procedures
- Strong understanding of robotics, neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced 16-suite OR environment
- Comfortable floating between CVOR and general OR as needed
