Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour daytime shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for home health patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient care
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve goals

Qualifications

Active Kentucky SLP license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Home Health experience required
CCC-SLP credential required
Current BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in treating CVA and aphasia
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records
Ability to work independently in a home health setting
