Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages using best-practice protocols
Perform assessments, administer therapies, and monitor patient response
Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the interdisciplinary team to optimize respiratory outcomes
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care
Document care thoroughly and communicate changes in patient status promptly

Qualifications

Active Washington state Respiratory Care Practitioner license required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential preferred
Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or able to obtain
Demonstrated clinical competency in adult and/or pediatric respiratory care
Strong teamwork and communication skills; patient-centered mindset

Education

Associate degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy (required) or equivalent
Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program and required state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in airway management and ventilator support
Familiarity with pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic modalities
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced acute care environment
Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care clearly
Good interpersonal skills for patient/family education and team collaboration
