Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room and ensure sterile field integrity for each procedure
Pass instruments and supplies efficiently to support surgeons and improve outcomes
Maintain surgical instrumentation, counts, and proper documentation
Anticipate surgical team needs and adapt quickly during cases
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent training
Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred where applicable
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to work day surgical cases and participate in orientation starting 2026-04-17
Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail

Education

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of sterile technique and operating room protocols
Familiarity with surgical instruments and procedural setups
Ability to perform instrument counts and maintain accurate records
Strong communication skills with surgeons, nurses, and support staff
Calm, quick decision-making under pressure during procedures
