Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care with a focus on dignity and respect
• Administer medications and treatments safely following established protocols
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary staff to create and follow care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient chart
• Assist with basic wound care, hygiene, and mobility support as needed
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized care environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong skills are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a collaborative team
• Comfort with electronic health records and documentation

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma, certificate, or equivalent from an accredited program
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Basic wound care and infection control practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
