Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care during 12-hour day shifts
• Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Contribute to a positive, professional unit culture and support colleagues

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential — active and in good standing
• Comfortable working per diem 12-hour day shifts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Prior acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — program completion required for RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Proficient with electronic health records and documentation best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Patient- and family-centered care approach with strong bedside manner
