Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care during your shift
Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate nursing plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care and clinical observations clearly and timely
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care
Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe clinical environment
Respond effectively to urgent clinical situations and escalate when necessary

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or compact state as applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus depending on unit
Previous clinical nursing experience preferred (per-diem roles welcome for experienced RNs)
Current immunizations and health screenings per facility policy
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during shifts

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Skilled in medication administration and patient monitoring
Comfortable with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
Team-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
