Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate, hands-on care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort
Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfer and ambulation practices, using proper body mechanics
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care
Document care and observations promptly and accurately in the patient record

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable providing direct patient care and working as part of a care team
Professional, dependable, and able to follow established care plans
Prior experience as a CNA is a plus; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
State-approved CNA training program completion and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-care skills and comfort with hands-on assistance
Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
Ability to take vital signs and observe/record patient conditions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
