Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care: assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and maintain fall-prevention practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts
Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and other staff to support efficient, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) - California certification preferred
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements (background check, TB screening, immunizations)
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Previous CNA or direct patient care experience preferred but new grads with training are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with assisting patients with ADLs and mobility
Skilled at taking and recording vital signs accurately
Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
