Location: Henderson, Nevada

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and delivery patients, including high-risk cases in a Level 3 facility
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and manage antepartum and postpartum care
Circulate and recover C-section patients
Titrate drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to mother-baby unit as needed
Collaborate with a dedicated team including certified surgical techs and secretaries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
Must be independent and confident in high-risk labor management

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring (AFM) and reading strips
Experience with Cerner EFM system
Ability to titrate drips independently
Strong teamwork and communication skills
