Shift Type: Tuesday-Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight 12-hour shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry continuously and promptly identify rhythm changes
Assess patients frequently and document findings clearly and accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
Respond to acute changes and assist in emergency interventions as needed
Educate patients and families about cardiac care, medications, and discharge plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California or eligible to obtain one
Telemetry clinical experience preferred; comfort with continuous cardiac monitoring
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and effective communication
Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and provide dependable per-diem coverage

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with cardiac telemetry interpretation and alarm management
Familiarity with electronic health record charting and documentation
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy basics
Good clinical judgment for prioritizing patient needs and escalation
Teamwork and clear communication with physicians, nurses, and support staff
