Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your night tour to maintain high quality care
• Provide skilled rehabilitative and restorative nursing interventions tailored to long-term care residents
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
• Mentor and support nursing staff on your shift to foster a safe and effective clinical environment
• Monitor resident conditions, document changes, and escalate concerns promptly to the nursing leadership

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of Colorado (required)
• Minimum 3 years experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable institution
• Current BLS certification (required)
• IV certification preferred for LPNs
• Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and maintain regulatory compliance

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent practical nursing education

• Long-term care (LTC) best practices and resident-centered care
• Rehabilitative and restorative nursing techniques
• Nursing supervision and shift leadership
• Federal and state regulatory compliance for long-term care
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and escalate issues when needed
