Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography and CT exams accurately and efficiently
• Operate CT and radiographic equipment while following safety and ALARA principles
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication before, during, and after imaging
• Ensure high-quality images and proper documentation in PACS and patient records
• Work across inpatient and outpatient settings in a small hospital environment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to support patient care
• Maintain infection control standards and comply with all required immunizations

Qualifications

• Maine radiologic technologist license, or eligible for Maine licensure (required)
• Experience in both radiography (Rad) and CT — dual modality required
• Mammography experience is a plus
• Must meet employer immunization requirements prior to start
• Comfort working in a small critical access hospital with mixed inpatient and outpatient cases

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT protocols and cross-sectional imaging
• Strong radiographic positioning and exposure technique skills
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic imaging workflows
• Patient-centered communication and the ability to work independently
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Adaptability to variable shifts and mixed inpatient/outpatient caseloads
