Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients on a busy Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms to keep patients safe
Titrate cardiac and critical drips with confidence and precision
Collaborate with a dynamic team of nurses, aides, and support staff
Float to Med/Surg, ICU, or ED when your skills match patient needs
Celebrate teamwork while managing frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Minimum one year of recent PCU or step-down experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Safe titration of Heparin, Insulin, and Octreotide drips
Comfort with rapid admissions, transfers, and discharges
Ability to float to multiple units as needed
Team-first attitude and positive communication
