Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shifts
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to detect and respond to patient changes promptly
• Document patient care and assessments accurately using Epic charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Float between like units as needed to meet facility demands while maintaining standards of care
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control practices, and observed holiday staffing expectations

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry clinical experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Comfortable with Epic charting and telemetry monitoring
• Able to work night shifts and every-other-weekend schedule
• First-time travelers are welcome — open to clinicians new to travel assignments

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Proficient with Epic electronic charting
• Solid Medical-Surgical nursing knowledge and assessment skills
• Effective communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage patient ratios (typical ratios noted 1:5-6)
• Adaptability to float between similar units as needed
