Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in accordance with facility protocols
• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and document changes clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following medication administration policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth handoffs
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other advanced certifications preferred
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred; per diem or acute care experience a plus
• Comfort working independently on per diem assignments and adapting quickly to new environments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• MST experience or familiarity is a plus

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation skills
• Infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Team collaboration and effective patient/family communication
