Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to med/surg patients
- Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
- Document care activities and patient progress clearly and professionally
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and discharge readiness
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH license or compact multistate license preferred)
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing (Med/Surg) — hands-on comfort with 12+ hour shifts is a plus
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications encouraged
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and orientation
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical knowledge of med/surg nursing procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and clear documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
