Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop focused care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Support unit workflow by prioritizing tasks and assisting teammates during peak times

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or appropriate compact privileges
Med/Surg clinical experience (recent Med/Surg experience preferred)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to unit staffing needs

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and interventions
Medication administration and IV therapy skills
Accurate clinical documentation and charting in electronic health records
Infection control best practices and patient safety focus
Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities
