Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg and pediatric patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Document patient care in the electronic health record clearly and timely
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
Participate in orientation and training to maintain clinical competency and unit standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact-license eligibility
Experience or comfort working in Med/Surg and pediatric patient populations
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS/PALS as applicable or obtainable
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment, vital signs, and clinical observation expertise
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and accurate documentation practices
Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage changing patient conditions
Compassionate pediatric care skills and family-centered communication
