Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing
Deliver high-quality patient care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and newborns
Utilize advanced fetal monitoring and electronic medical records (Meditech, OBIX) to document care
Administer medications and treatments per hospital policies and procedures
Provide education and support to patients and families during the childbirth experience

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required
Active Alaska state RN license in good standing
Current BLS, NRP, STABLE, and HS AED certifications
Proficiency with Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis, and fetal monitoring equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in obstetrics and neonatal care
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with electronic health records and medication dispensing systems
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing patient conditions
