Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 (days) and 1830-0630 (nights), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients
Titrate critical drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment
Interpret telemetry strips and document rhythms accurately
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 33-bed ICU with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book pass/fail exam during orientation
Driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing, telemetry, and ventilator management
Proficient in titrating and managing multiple drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable with floating to PCU and MedSurg units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
