Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holidays required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients on the Med/Tele unit
- Manage and coordinate care for patients with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, and CKD
- Administer medications, titrate drips as needed, and provide respiratory support with CPAP/BiPAP
- Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Float to other med/surg units as required to support the team
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 1 year of med/surg or telemetry experience preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Med/Surg nursing including CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, and CKD management
- CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Ability to read telemetry strips and work with monitor techs
