Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of both Cath Lab and ICU departments
Lead and mentor nursing staff to enhance clinical competency
Provide pre-procedure and recovery care in Cath Lab
Support bedside procedures and administer moderate sedation
Build a positive and collaborative unit culture
Manage patient assignments and ensure safe staffing ratios
Participate in on-call coverage for emergencies

Qualifications

1 year of management experience required
3 years of RN experience required
1 year of clinical leadership experience required
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT certifications strongly preferred
Willing to consider candidates who meet most requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and telemetry expertise
Fluoro license for technical staff
Experience with titrating vasoactive drips and blood products
Ability to read telemetry strips
Strong leadership and team-building skills
