Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients on a cardiopulmonary telemetry and neuro unit
- Monitor and interpret EKGs, detecting changes and responding promptly
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families about conditions and recovery
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in telemetry or neuro (within the past 6 months)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation
- Successful completion of Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts max)
- Pass a simulation lab on day one of orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to care for neuro patients, including those with CVAs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Comfort with high-flow oxygen therapy and pulmonary patients
