Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-level care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs with precision
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and support cardiac, surgical, and ECMO patients
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of neonatologists, midlevels, and RTs to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate families and provide emotional support during their NICU journey
• Maintain sterile field during central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience - we want the best for our tiniest patients
• Active BLS and NRP certifications required
• Cardiac STABLE certification is a strong plus
• Minimum 3 years of overall NICU experience preferred
• Previous travel experience is a big plus - hit the ground running
• Comfort with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in neonatal assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization
• Proficient in central line care, Foley catheter insertion, and sterile technique
• Experience with ventilators (RT manages, but you need to understand vent settings)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Ability to float to mother-baby and labor care (babies only) as needed
