Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as Charge Nurse, overseeing resident care and coordinating with staff
Administer medications accurately and safely
Perform wound care and treatments per physician orders
Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT and social work
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience
Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Familiarity with Matrix EMR is a plus
Ability to work independently as charge nurse
