Shift Type: Flexible 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with shared weeknight and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing support for advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
Manage specialized imaging catheters, wires, and stents during ERCP procedures
Operate ultrasound processor and assist with fine needle aspiration for EUS
Set up electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for EMR/ESD resections
Handle balloon catheters and equipment for enteroscopy
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes per SGNA standards
Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for urgent procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in GI/Endoscopy nursing
Proven circulating and teching skills for advanced procedures like ERCP and EUS
Willingness to pass an open-book exam during orientation with a 90% score
Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in on-call rotation
Compliance with facility fingernail policy (no artificial nails in patient care areas)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced endoscopic procedures
Expertise in scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection
Knowledge of ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery techniques
Excellent attention to detail and infection control practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced GI lab environment
