Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM days, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM nights), every other weekend, holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a combined ICU/PCU/MST unit
Monitor and titrate critical drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Perform 12-lead EKGs and interpret cardiac rhythms at the bedside
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to manage patient assignments across up to 50 beds
Float to other units as needed to maintain competency in caring for ICU/PCU patients

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent ICU experience, or 1 year ICU and 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a large facility
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts
Experience with titrating drips and caring for ventilated patients

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU and PCU level of care
Proficiency in EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Skill in titrating vasoactive and sedation medications
Strong critical thinking and ability to handle multiple acuities
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP
